Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Sergio Agüero will not be fit in time to face rivals Manchester United on Saturday.
Agüero limped off with a muscular injury during City’s win over Chelsea last week and subsequently missed the Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk and Saturday’s draw away at Newcastle.
And Guardiola has now confirmed that the Argentine striker will not feature against Burnley on Tuesday night and is not likely to be in contention to play again until after the Manchester derby.
