After leading Liverpool’s sensational form over the past year, Jürgen Klopp has unsurprisingly been named The Best men’s coach.
The charismatic German led a shortlist made up entirely of Premier League tacticians.
He was joined in the final three by Pep Guardiola, who won every domestic honour at Manchester City last season, and Mauricio Pochettino who steered Tottenham to the Champions League final.
They were beaten in that game by Klopp’s Liverpool, who also came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League too.
Those heroics have been enough to ensure Klopp gets his hands on the individual honour.
In the women’s game, the shortlist was made up entirely of international coaches, which was no great surprise in a Women’s World Cup year.
Ultimately, victorious USA boss Jill Ellis won the award, beating Sabrina Wiegman of beaten finalists Netherlands and England’s Phil Neville.
