Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has officially signed a new long-term extension with the club.
Both parties agreed on four-and-a-half year deal until the summer of 2024, with a club option for an additional year.
“Naturally, I’m delighted to sign a new deal until 2024 and commit to the club that is close to my heart,” he told the club’s official website.
“I am grateful to Prince Abdullah for taking the initiative and offering this contract, we’ve had a great few years and hopefully we can continue the upward curve.
“Let’s see how far we can go on this journey.”
Wilder spent seven years with the Blades during his playing career, before guiding them to the Premier League – via League One and the Championship – after becoming their manager in 2016.
