Chivas star Eduardo “Chofis” López is just like most of the rest of us while under coronavirus quarantine, just trying to find ways to pass the time.

Not only has López brought a new companion, Bulldoglio, into his house, he is also sporting a new blonde look – one that he says was simply an act of desperation in these difficult times.

“On my hair… what can I tell you? This quarantine does not leave anything nice,” he told Chivas Pasión.

“Desperation. You have nothing to do, you get bored. So out there what am I going to do? Ah, I’m going to dye my hair (laughs) and that’s how I kill free time.”

It is currently unknown whether or not the Liga MX 2020 Clausura campaign will resume after the coronavirus suspension or whether the season will be deemed null and void.

All leagues below Liga MX and Ascenso MX have been cancelled, with the U-17s and U-20s scheduled to play in a tournament that will include all Liga MX youth sides.
