It appears that after 10 years at Manchester United, Antonio Valencia is finally ready to leave the club.
With his contract set to expire this summer, the club are reportedly not picking up his option and the 33-year-old will be leaving on a free transfer, likely to Major League Soccer’s D.C. United to reunite with Wayne Rooney.
On Friday, Valencia posted this ‘thank you’ message on his Instagram story along with what appeared to be him taking his family on a ‘farewell tour’ of Old Trafford.
Valencia joined the club from Wigan in 2009 for £17m and won a pair of Premier League titles, an FA Cup, a Europa League crown, and two EFL Cups.
