Tottenham are, for the first time in two windows, ready to back Mauricio Pochettino this summer and build on their march to the Champions League final.

But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a place for some of the club’s exciting young prospects next term.

Let’s have a look at the kids who could be turning out alongside Harry Kane and co in 2019/10.

Marcus Edwards

Widely regarded as one of the best youth products Tottenham have unearthed in years, Marcus Edwards has been compared to Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho thanks to his ability on the ball and change of pace.

Off-field issues have curtailed Edwards’ rise to the first team but after an impressive loan spell at Excelsior last season, Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping that the 20-year-old can force his way into the reckoning in 2019/20.

Troy Parrott

Only just 17 but already one of the youngster Mauricio Pochettino has been keeping an eye on, Troy Parrott was the under-18s top goalscorer last year and was rewarded with a call-up into the Republic of Ireland squad.

A brilliant all-round striker with an eye for goal, many see Parrott as Harry Kane’s heir-apparent.

Oliver Skipp

A bustling, ball-winning defensive midfielder, very much in the mould of Moussa Dembélé.

Oliver Skipp burst on to the scene this season and impressed enough to be handed eight Premier League appearances from the bench.

His assuredness in possession and ability to pick a pass should see him overtake Eric Dier in the pecking order this coming campaign.
