Alessandro Del Piero spent 19 memorable years at Juventus and said goodbye in the best possible way.

Seven years ago today, the illustrious forward scored in his final match in a Juve shirt as Juventus lifted their first official Scudetto since 2003 with a 3-1 win over Atalanta to cap off an undefeated season.

Del Piero would give his side a 2-0 lead in the 28th minute before being taken off 30 minutes later, capping off an unbelievable career that saw him play 706 times for the Italian outfit, scoring 290 goals and contributing 72 assists.

The 44-year-old won nearly everything during his career, lifting six Scudetto trophies, the Champions League, and a World Cup with Italy.

Tear-jerking stuff this.
