🎥 Raheem Sterling’s goal with the Top Gun music is simply wonderful

It’s fair to say Manchester City’s performance in their 6-0 drubbing of Chelsea on Sunday took our breath away.

Perhaps the iconic moment of the match was Raheem Sterling wheeling away in celebration after giving Pep Guardiola’s side a fourth-minute lead.

And now, thanks to Twitter user SteveZee, that moment just got a whole lot more cinematic.

‘Take My Breath Away’ was a song performed by Berlin for the 1986 movie Top Gun, and we have a feeling it could be cropping up as the soundtrack to a few more football videos in the near future.

We can’t stop watching this unintentionally synchronised celebration, by the way.

Glorious.
