It’s one of the most vociferous rivalries in all of sport but for a brief moment in 2005, Barcelona and Real Madrid fans came together.

That was because of one special player, a player that defied logic and produced one of the greatest individual displays the game has ever seen.

That player, of course, is Ronaldinho, and the performance, on this day 14 years ago, was what took him to another stratosphere.

Helping to beat Los Blancos 3-0 at Santiago Bernabéu, the Brazilian netted twice with the home fans getting to their feet after the second goal and applauding the Brazilian’s genius.
