Sunday 6 October 2019 marks exactly 18 years since David Beckham brought England to its feet.

With qualification for the 2002 World Cup on the line, the Three Lions took on Greece at Old Trafford.

But as the clock ticked over into injury time, Sven-Göran Eriksson’s side were trailing 2-1 and facing the prospect of a play-off in Kiev.

That was until they were awarded a free-kick 30-yards from goal in the 93rd minute.
