Tottenham and Real Betis have reportedly came to an agreement at last for the transfer of Giovani Lo Celso.
That is according to reliable reporter David Ornstein, who claimed that a deal is now nearing completion.
He reported that Spurs have reached an agreement with Betis for the transfer of the Argentine, who has been on their radar all summer.
Goal, among others, state that the transfer fee is €60m, some way off his €100m release clause.
It is the second major departure from the Seville club this week, following the earlier exit of Junior Firpo to join Barcelona.
That isn’t the only piece of business that Mauricio Pochettino’s men hope to conclude before the deadline on Thursday evening.
There also talks ongoing with Championship side Fulham to complete a deal for left-back Ryan Sessegnon.
Optimism is reportedly high in north London that they can complete both deals before the transfer window closes.
