LaLiga side Valencia have hit out against DC Comics after they filed a complaint against Los Che over their recent centenary crest.

The makers of Batman wrote to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) last week after Valencia released a new club logo similar to that of the Caped Crusader.

The fact that Valencia’s crest has been carrying a bat since 1919 and DC only came into existence in 1939 doesn’t seem to have stopped the American company.

But now Los Che have responded with one of the saltiest comments you’ll read all week.

Yep, they really did say that.

Whilst also adding: “We are not going to stop using the bat because DC Comics says it, there is no commercial brand that has a worldwide exclusive on bats.”

You certainly don’t need The Riddler to understand where Valencia stand on this one.
