The biggest talking point from Tuesday’s action at the Women’s World Cup was undoubtedly the USA’s thrashing of Thailand.
Alex Morgan netted five in an incredible 13-0 rout, so it’s perhaps understandable that people have overlooked this piece of utter genius from one of the day’s earlier games.
Sweden got their campaign off to a great start with a 2-0 win over Chile, but it was Madelen Janogy who stole the show with this strike right at the death.
Goal of the tournament so far? We think so.
