Champions League, move aside.

We’ve got a massive Premier League week ahead with a round of midweek fixtures ready and waiting.

First, though, there’s all this to look out for during the weekend.

Game of the Weekend

Leicester v Everton

YES! A week without any of the top six or big six or whatever you want to call them featuring in our game of the weekend.

That’s if you don’t include Leicester, who have crashed the party once again. The Foxes are flying under Brendan Rodgers and a five-game winning run has them second in the Premier League.

In fact, there’s not a single played in Leicester’s side, right now, that would look out of place at Liverpool or Manchester City. There’s a reason they’re wedged between the two title rivals.

Boasting the meanest defence in the league and the second best attack, it’s a perfect time to play struggling Everton … isn’t it?

Yet another negative result would all but condemn Marco Silva to the sack. The Toffees have won just once on the road this season, at lowly Southampton, but they have a trip to Anfield coming up and can’t afford to go into it on a low.

This one has so much riding on it that we can only expect them to raise their game and give Leicester a fight.

Potential upset

Norwich v Arsenal

After seven games without a win, we think Arsenal might upset Norwich at Carrow Road.

Unai Emery is gone and club legend Freddie Ljungberg will manage the Gunners for the first time on Sunday afternoon.

Will the Swede’s arrival give the players a new lease of life? What will his first line-up look like? And could they finally win a Premier League game again after 56 days?

Easiest three points

Liverpool v Brighton

Liverpool have won 13 Premier League home games in a row. They are unbeaten in 46 Premier League home games.

Brighton won at Watford on the opening day but have since lost four and drawn one on the road, scoring just twice in the process.

This one sorts itself out.

In-form surprise packages

After a slow start to the season, Wolves have gone eight unbeaten in the league and now sit fifth in the table. It’s been an impressive run and has silenced doubters who said they couldn’t compete in Europe and maintain last season’s Premier League form.

Sheffield United, currently sixth, have been even more impressive. Chris Wilder’s men are one of the most organised teams in the country and, as they proved against Manchester United last Sunday, they can be an enthralling watch too.

Sunday’s meeting between the two sides should give us a good indication of whether or not a run at a European place (another one, in Wolves’s case) really is on the cards.
