With massive rumours suggesting Unai Emery is on his way out of Paris, the PSG manager took to social media to quell any speculation that he’s already thinking about his future.

Arsène Wenger and Thomas Tuchel are two of the biggest names the media have linked to the seemingly-open position.

“Neither I nor anyone in my name has met with any other club,” Emery, who has won six major trophies since joining from Sevilla in June 2016, told his 150,000 followers on Twitter. “I’d like to make it clear that I’m still focused on PSG and the objectives we have left.”

PSG claimed their seventh Ligue 1 title after a 7-1 thrashing of Monaco two weeks ago.

Le Parisiens can break the 100-point barrier by collecting 10 points in their final four matches and can complete the domestic treble with a win over third-division Les Herbiers. They defeated Bordeaux on the road 1-0 last week in their first Ligue 1 match since clinching the trophy.

“We showed character. It’s another step forward and we’re happy with the result,” explained Emery of the 1-0 win, sealed thanks to Giovani Lo Celso’s late strike. “I’m satisfied with the players. It was important to keep our run of wins going after being crowned champions and qualifying for the Coupe de France final.”
