Talk about getting spicy before your debut.
Tomás Boy took the permanent Chivas job earlier in the week and in his pre-match press conference, Boy started dishing out some seriously hot takes.
“That’s right: If I was the manager, América [would not] have won,” he claimed.
Despite being the former boss of Clásico Tapatío rivals Atlas on three separate occasions, Boy was quick to dismiss any personal links he still had to the club.
“The only thing in common that I have with the Atlas is that neither they nor I have won any titles,” he said.
Boy will make his first appearance in charge of Chivas on Saturday when they face Monarcas.
