Surprise club emerge as favourites for Barcelona outcast Yerry Mina

Fenerbahçe are reportedly the latest side to express an interest in Barcelona defender Yerry Mina.

Mina was a highly rated defender in South America but has struggled since moving to the Camp Nou from Palmeiras in January.

Following Samuel Umtiti’s renewal and interest in Sevilla’s Clement Lenglet, it appears that the Colombian will be surplus to requirements next season.

According to SPORT, Fenerbahçe are looking to overhaul their entire transfer policy so they can avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions.

Under this new system Fenerbahce have sent their scouts out looking for potential loan signings and Mina has been earmarked as a strong candidate.

Representatives from the Turkish side have started initial talks with Barcelona and hope to bring the 23-year-old to the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.
