Los Blancos signed the 17-year-old from Santos over the summer in a deal worth a reported €45m.
The Brazilian striker won’t actually go to Spain until June 2019, but the teenager has already spoken about his intention to make history at Santiago Bernabéu.
“I am very proud to have signed for the greatest team in the world,” he is quoted as saying by Marca.
“I want to be ready as soon as possible to make a big impact.”
Rodrygo then went on to speak about his admiration for Ronaldo, who left Madrid after nine years this summer to join Juventus.
“It would have been a pleasure to play with him. He made history at Real Madrid and I want to follow in his footsteps.”
