Ever since leaving Fluminense, Richarlison has taken the Premier League by storm, both with Watford and Everton.
Now, he has revealed that his compatriot could be the next starlet to join the Toffees in a big-money move.
In an interview with Reinier, the 22-year-old Everton star boasted about the talent at Flamengo and hinted that 17-year-old Renier could be joining the Toffees in January.
“Flamengo are a great team. Just yesterday I was following them. I saw that even with some players missing, Flamengo’s team is very strong,” Richarlison said when asked about the Brazilian side.
“There is the kid there Reinier, who if I’m not mistaken, Everton had a contact with him.”
The attacking midfielder has broken into Flamengo’s first-team and shone in limited action, scoring three goals and providing a further two assists in just eight Brasileirão contests.
Reinier will not go for cheap, however, as sources within the Flamengo camp have stated that he will not be sold for less than what Vinícius Júnior went for (€45m).
The Brazil youth international has a release clause of €62m.
