Currently injured and recovering in his native Brazil, Neymar can’t stop making headlines.

If he isn’t being linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain, he’s making waves on social media. Now he’s complaining about football in France.

“The five months in France have felt like five years,” the former Barcelona man told Esporte Interativo in an interview.

“I think there has been too much fouling. It’s unfair.

“The whole game I’m always being hit, my body is covered in bruises.”

Signed by PSG for €222m last summer, the 26-year-old has shone for his new club, scoring 19 goals and assisting a further 13 in just 20 Ligue 1 appearances.

That isn’t enough to keep him happy, though, especially when he’s being fouled so often.

So far this season, Neymar has suffered a foul every 17 minutes in Ligue 1. In comparison, he was fouled every 23 minutes during his time in LaLiga.
