New England Revolution had one of their worst displays at home and ended up losing 1-0 against the Columbus Crew.

Gregg Berhalter’s side found a way to win a match that lacked clear opportunities to score through a corner kick with only five minutes left in regular time.

Lalas Abubakar’s solid header gave the Crew the three points.

In the few occasions that the Revs were able to generate chances to score, they were denied by goalkeeper Zack Steffen. Coming out from the Foxborough ‘Fortress’ without conceding a goal is quite an achievement in recent times despite the home team overall performance.

As a matter of fact, Columbus haven’t conceded a goal in over 400 minutes.

The Crew have now won three in a row and are unbeaten in their last six matches. Good enough to position themselves in the Eastern Conference third place.
