Mauricio Pochettino wants Tottenham to create ‘a realistic dream’ ahead of moving into their new stadium.

Spurs will return to White Hart Lane later this year after spending the past season at Wembley and excitement is rife amongst supporters.

An official date is yet to be set, Pochettino has spoken about the importance of how they must approach their first campaign in a new environment.

“The club’s ambition always is to win,” he told reporters. “I think it’s so important to move to the new stadium, the facilities are unbelievable, but not only with the new stadium are we going to be close to winning.

“It’s so important to have a strategy to explain, to show the club is going to be ambitions, but sometimes we need to operate in a different way to others.

“The fans need to know what we are going to do, the fans need to feel the reality of the club and we need to tell the truth and to create an expectation that we can achieve.”
