Liverpool revealed Legends squad to face Bayern Munich former stars | OneFootball

Liverpool have announced their Legends full squad to face Bayern Munich stars in a charity match to be played at Anfield.

The star-studded game is to be played in front of a sell-out crowd.

The Reds legends will feature Robbie Fowler as their captain and also a number of players who recently retired that might contribute significantly to Liverpool’s form, such as Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, and Daniel Agger.

Ian Rush will be taking a player-manager role. While Xavi Alonso is set to play a half with Liverpool and the other half with the German club.

The confirmed Liverpool Legends 21 –man squad:

Jerzy Dudek, David James, Bjørn Tore Kvarme, Jason McAteer, Daniel Agger, Phil Babb, John Arne Riise, Steve McManaman, John Aldridge, Steven Gerrard, Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler, Luis García, Michael Owen, Vladimír Šmicer, Xabi Alonso, Patrik Berger, Dietmar Hamann, Dirk Kuyt, Gary McAllister, Jamie Carragher.

Bayern’s squad features multiple World Cup-winners such as Bixente Lizarazu, Lothar Matthäus, Luca Toni, and Alonso.
