Kylian Mbappé wants to help Paris Saint-Germain break records as they close out yet another title-winning season.

PSG’s fifth Ligue 1 title in six years was secured in style with a 7-1 win over Monaco and Mbappé wants to carry on in a similar vein as they chase their own record tally of 96 points.

With five games remaining, Unai Emery’s side are on 87 – meaning three more wins will equal the record and four wins and a draw will make it an historic 100-point campaign.

“What motivates us today are the records we can chase,” Mbappé told the club’s official website. “We are competitors and that is our motivation.

“We know the points record is not far away. We know we can make history, we will do what it takes to achieve that.

“We remain ambitious and motivated for every match. We want to maintain consistency and above all, create history.”
