Anyone remember Darko KovaÄeviÄ? If not â you should.
The Serbian striker was one of Juveâs most prolific forwards in the short time he spent in Turin. And today the Serie A club celebrates KovaÄeviÄâs 44th birthday by releasing a video of his best moments for the club.

âThree seasons, 26 goals in black and whiteâ reads the tweet â but it feels like the goals should be more than that. And what stunners they were.
A former team-mate of Zinedine Zidane, KovaÄeviÄ played for Juventus from 1999 to 2001, becoming their leading European goalscorer during his first season in Italy. The Serbian sensation found the net in both the Serie A, as well as in the Champions League and Uefa Cup.
Making a total of 44 appearances in all competitions in 1999/00 season alone, Darko found the net 21 times (eight in Serie A, two in Coppa Italia, and 11 in Europe). KovaÄeviÄ will always be remembered as a legend at Juventus.
Happy birthday, Darko!
