José Juan Macías, also known as JJ Macías, has been on fire since going on loan to León, scoring six goals in 11 Liga MX matches to help lead the side to an unexpected run to the top of the table.

At barely 19-years-old, Macías has nearly 50 top-flight matches under his belt and it appears that he wants to be fast-tracked to Europe.

Furthermore, his father wants to play a part.

His father is one of the most important oil entrepreneurs in the country and could economically buy out his rights, although he would have to do so in association with some club since FIFA does not officially allow a person to own the rights to any player.

León have the right to buy the player outright from Chivas for $15m (€13.25m), which would force Macías to play at least one more season in Mexico.
