Billy Álvarez, president of Cruz Azul, confirmed at a press conference on Friday that goalkeeper José de Jesús Corona would remain at the club for the 2020 Clausura.

With this statement, the rumours of his probable arrival at Chivas in the January window have been officially quashed.
