Héctor Moreno suffered, according to the medical report, a grade one injury to his inner calf and soleus on his left leg.

This was caused by a bruised calf Moreno picked up during Real Sociedad’s 3-2 win over Leganés.

In a statement by Real Sociedad, Moreno was unable to participate in training and underwent medical tests that proved the extent of the injury.

The player will require rest and physiotherapy and has been ruled out Sociedad’s final match against Barcelona. The player will join the Mexican training camp this week to start his recovery.

The injury is not expected to be serious, and Moreno is expected to be fully fit for the World Cup.
