Francesco Totti expects Mohamed Salah to get even better | OneFootball

Mohamed Salah has impressed everyone since joining Liverpool but Francesco Totti isn’t surprised.

Why would he be after seeing Salah in training at AS Roma over the last couple of seasons?

Totti is, in fact, backing Salah to improve further.

“The level he is playing at, at the moment, he is one of the best players in the world. And I think he can and will get even better,” said the Italian legend.

We don’t know who much Salah can improve on 30 goals in 36 Liverpool appearances but we wouldn’t put it past him.

“I know him well,” the former Roma captain added.

“He is a good friend and wants to keep improving, to keep getting better as a player.

“He does all the right things, he trains hard, he works hard, he listens to the coaches – that’s why, as good as he is playing at the moment, I think maybe there is even one more level in him.”

Now that really would be something.
