In another twist to the tale, reports out of Brazil state that 21-year-old Liverpool midfielder Allan has had his loan at Eintracht Frankfurt terminated by mutual consent.

Furthermore, the reports go on to say that the Brazilian has flown back to his country to sign a six-month loan deal with Fluminense.

Liverpool signed Allan from Internacional in 2015 for €575,000 after impressing the Liverpool brass at the Frenz International Cup.

However, Allan has yet to make a senior appearance for the Reds and with his contract expiring this summer and what would be his sixth loan spell, it seems that the club have given up on the Brazilian U-20 international.

Prior to Frankfurt, Allan spent time at Apollon Limassol, Hertha Berlin, Belgian club Sint-Truiden, and Finnish club SJK.
