Flamengo fans unable to make it to Lima for the Libertadores final will have the opportunity to experience the game in a familiar location.
With the backing of CONMEBOL, Flamengo are going to open up the Maracanã and broadcast the game against River Plate on big screens at the famous Rio stadium.
According to the O Dia newspaper, organisers are working on the logistical details such as capacity, ticket prices and additional entertainment for the occasion.
The highly anticipated clash with Argentinian side River is pencilled in for November 23 at the Monumental de Lima in the Peruvian capital.
Flamengo booked their place in the decider with a comprehensive 6-1 aggregate semi-final win over Brazilian side Grêmio.
