European giants 'battle it out' for Tottenham star Reo Griffiths | OneFootball

Italian giants Juventus and Roma have reportedly joined RB Leipzig in a fight to sign Tottenham teenager Reo Griffiths.

The 17-year-old is widely believed to be one of the brightest prospects in British football but has so far failed to agree terms on a first professional contract.

The striker, who scored 34 goals for Spurs’ Under-18s last season, is thought to be keen on a move away from north London and sign for a team that can offer him more first-term minutes.

And according to The Mirror, both Juve and the Giallorossi are preparing bids for Griffiths in the region of €10m.

They will have to do battle with the Bundesliga outfit, who are said to be at the front of the queue for the goalscorer’s signature.

If he leaves, Griffiths will follow a recent trend of young Englishman looking to leave the Premier League and sign for clubs in continental Europe.

Jaydon Sancho, Rhys Oxford and Ademola Lookman have all starred in Germany.
