Eden Hazard has told Chelsea that he will not sign a new deal with the club unless they agree to insert a Real Madrid-specific release clause.

The Chelsea star has been stalling on signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge and has already rejected offers to extend his deal past 2020.

According to latest reports, the Belgium forward has stated that he is happy to agree to the insane £300,000 per week offer as long as there is an escape clause that will allow him to join Real Madrid at an agreed price.

The LaLiga giants have long been linked with Hazard, who is Chelsea’s top goalscorer and best chance creator with his 15 goals and nine assists in 38 appearances.

Real Madrid’s president Florentino Pérez is reportedly determined to bring the 27-year-old playmaker to the Bernabéu, stating that Hazard is capable of joining the notable list of past legends of the club.
