Not only have Deportivo Alavés enjoyed a superb campaign on the pitch, but the Basque are also winners in the stands as well.
A recent report undertaken by La Liga have revealed that the Babazorros are, in percentage terms, the best supported club in Spain’s top division.
Their Mendizorrotza stadium has been full 92.4% of the time this season, the most of any club in the Primera Division.
Leganés came in second with 87.3% of capacity attendance, whilst Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabèu was third with 82.8%,
Barcelona’s Camp Nou didn’t even make the top 10, only being full 70% of the time in 2017/18.
The bottom club in the list was Espanyol, who’s Cornellá-El Prat only reached a paltry 44.5%.
