Earlier in the month, at the request of Tomás Boy, Chivas stated that they refuse to get rid of Isaac Brizuela.
Chivas CEO José Luis Higuera, in fact, closed the door on their best player from the 2019 Clausura, saying that other clubs do not have the money to buy him.
However, Cruz Azul have not given up on their pursuit, because according to information from Mediotiempo, they are willing to increase their previous offer for the winger.
Chivas stated last week that they would not release the 28-year-old for less than $11m (€10m).
Earlier in the month, Brizuela posted on Twitter: “I am undoubtedly proud to defend the Chivas colors and shield with dedication and professionalism. I hope to be many more years in this institution.”
