It wasn’t pretty, but Corinthians defeated Vasco at Arena Corinthians on Sunday morning 1-0.

Three goals were called back, but it was the goal by Ralf in the 59th minute that was the difference.

Corinthians got on the board early in the tenth-minute but VAR called the goal back.

In the second half it was Vasco’s turn to have a goal disallowed. Danilo Barcelos took a free kick in the area and Werley deflected. The defender, however, was offside.

Corinthians broke the deadlock in the 59th minute when Boselli pivoted at the edge of the area and rolled to Ralf, who hit firmly in the corner of Fernando Miguel to open the scoring.

After suffering the goal Vasco sought the attack and demanded good defense of Cássio in the reflex of a hit ball, but it was the Timon who scored again in the extras however it was called back once again by VAR to close out the match at 1-0.

With the win, Corinthians moves to fourth place in the Campeonato Brasileiro with 38 points. Corinthians will now face Grêmio next Saturday.
