Chivas have not scored in four matches and have not won a Liga MX game since their 3-0 victory over Atlas back on 16 February.
Even with all their recent struggles, Chivas are very much in the Liguilla race – just two points behind eighth-placed Pachuca with six games to play.
Now, Javier ‘Chofis’ Lopez has overcome his meniscus injury and could feature on the right wing for the first time since the opening week of the season back in January.
“I have to continue on the same path that I had been on before the injury,” Chofis said.
“Today I feel good physically and I hope to participate in the next games.”
Chivas will take on fellow strugglers Pumas this Sunday.
