Oswaldo Alanís has not featured for Chivas since their 2-1 victory over FC Juárez back on 28 October, when his recurring left thigh injury became too much for him to handle.
After being given an initial prognosis of 15 days out, Alanís returned to training right on time on Tuesday.
Though he did not feature in full training, he, along with Dieter Villalpando, Hiram Mier, Jesús Sánchez, trained separately in the gym doing basic workouts.
It’s expected that Alanís will feature for Chivas in their must-win match against Veracruz.
Since returning to the club in July, Alanís has made 10 appearances at centre-back and has scored twice.
