TV Azteca report that the board are determined to avoid battling against the drop and are prepared to open the chequebook to turn things around.

PSV’s Erick Gutiérrez is a candidate to return to Mexico after just a year in Eindhoven, where he has been unable to establish himself.

Universal claim that Chivas are leading the race to sign him, along with three other Liga MX talents.

The report goes on to indicate that Guadalajara are keen on snapping up Alan Mozo, Erick Aguirre and Jonathan González.

All three would likely be available for the right price and are all on the shopping list for the end of the season.
