Not all those who came to Chivas as stellar reinforcements for the 2020 Clausura have managed to convince the fans, directors, coaching staff, and former stars of the club so far.
One of those former stars is Ramón Morales, who believes ‘Chicote’ Calderón and Jesús Madueña were excellent signings but will have to do more in order to prove their worth in a deep Chivas squad.
“The players they hired are important (Cristian Calderón and Jesús Madueña), they have quality and they will surely have a great future.
“But they came to a team that was already armed.
“The arrival of these reinforcements came in handy for the team because they grew stronger in each part of the pitch.”
Morales and his 66 Chivas goals rank ninth all-time in club history. He starred at the club from 1999 to 2010 and earned 64 caps for Mexico.
