Despite many players rising up from the youth academy, few have managed to make a dent in the Chivas first team.

No matter how hard they try, at Chivas, they have difficulties in producing enough names to crack starting XI.

In fact, as tabulated by Mexican outlet Record, what has happened at Chivas is completely the opposite of their intentions.

According to the website, a total of 49 players have made their professional debut with Chivas since 2010, at an unbelievable rate of one every two months.

However,  of those 49 players, only five have managed to play at least 50% of possible minutes with their clubs this season and only one player, Miguel Ponce, has been a regular starter with Chivas.

Of the 49 players mentioned, only 22 are still in Liga MX while 18 players are playing in the second or third divisions of Mexico.

While four players feature for a second division side elsewhere, five of those 49 players find themselves out of professional football.
