Ulises Dávila will be with Chivas in pre-season camp ahead of the 2019 Apertura and will attempt to earn a place in the team.

Dávila graduated from the Chivas academy and make his professional debut in 2009 before earning a move to Chelsea two years later, becoming the first Mexican to ever sign for the club.

However, he never made a first-team appearance for the Blues following his €2m move and instead spent his time on loan at Vitesse, Sabadell, Córdoba, Tenerife, and Vitória Setubal.

The attacking midfielder returned to Mexico in January 2016 and moved to Santos Laguna on a free. Dávila made 45 appearances for Santos in two-and-a-half years, scoring four goals and an assist.

After spending the last six months in India with Delhi Dynamos, Dávila has returned to Chivas and will hope to earn a place under Tomas Boy.
