Chelsea are in talks with Lille sporting director Lucas Campos, and met with his agent last month according to the latest reports.
The Blues are on the hunt for a new technical director after Michael Emanalo left the club in November last year.
And the Independent on Thursday have confirmed that representatives from the west London club met with the Portuguese talent spotter and his agent in London.
Campos was a scout for Real Madrid during José Mourinho’s tenure before moving to Monaco, where he helped recruit the likes of James Rodríguez, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy.
