Club América have suffered quite a few injuries in recent months, which has many concerned about the fitness regiments that Miguel Herrera and company are putting the players through.

América centre-back Bruno Valdez was pulled from the squad at the last moment but the fact was hidden at the time as to not emphasize their apparent injury crisis.

At first, it was reported that the Paraguayan was ruled out with a stomach infection but it’s now known that he was diagnosed with a sore knee.

Though it seemed that it could be serious at the time, it’s now believed Valdez will return for this Friday’s match at Xolos, but only if there is no risk of a relapse.
