Club América have reportedly made a late attempt to snatch Antonio Briseño from under the noses of Chivas.
Briseño has left Portuguese club Feirense following their relegation to the second division and is available on a free transfer.
Chivas have reportedly offered a contract and are close to reaching an agreement with the 25-year-old defender.
However, El Informador now report that América are trying to hijack the deal with a contract offer of their own.
As things stand, it looks like the former Atlas and Tigres UANL will be heading to El Rebaño Sagrado, but América might just herd him a different direction.
