Yoann Gourcuff is currently without a club and could turn to Liga MX in order to extend his career.

The 32-year-old, who last played at Dijon in January, would be available on a free and both Rayados and América are reportedly interested.

Gourcuff has made 32 appearances for the French national team and has spent his entire career in Ligue 1 aside from a two-year stint at AC Milan.

Should Gourcuff make the switch, he would become just the fifth French player in Liga MX history.

Of the two that are active, André-Pierre Gignac has been an absolute star at Tigres and is set to lead his side into battle for the 2019 Clausura title.

Jérémy Ménez, meanwhile, has struggled to get back into the América squad since tearing his ACL and has played just 101 minutes in all competitions this season.

Though Ménez is heavily rumoured to be leaving the club this summer, with his contract expiring next year, Gourcuff’s arrival could be incentive enough for Ménez and América to work together again.
