Coning off the bench in Chivas’ 3-0 victory over Atlético San Luis, Alexis Vega continues to make his case for a starting position.
Coming in in the 70th minutes, Vega disrupted the game and was able to draw a penalty kick after being tripped in the box, which helped his club put the nail on the coffin of a comfortable 3-0 win, which moved them to fifth place in the standings.
Vega has continued to impress after his standout performance versus Santos Laguna on Wednesday when the 21-year-old scored a brace three minutes apart to put Chivas atop Group 7 of the Copa MX.
