Chivas interim manager Alberto Coyote is a very confident man.

Despite not winning a Liga MX match in nearly two months, Coyote is confident that his side will overcome a four-point deficit with five games to play.

“I understand the anger of the fans, I’m not going to hide behind anything. I am part of the problem, but I can be part of the solution.

“It is important that players know what shirt they are wearing. You have to try to be a worthy representative of Chivas.”

Fans have complained about the recent poor performances of Alexis Vega and Alan Pulido with the latter missing the Pumas defeat due to injury.

Coyote expained how Pulido and Chivas have been cautious with his injury.

“He suffered a contusion in the knee, he was evaluated and it was decided that he could not participate one hundred per cent.

“We can not give anything away. Of course, the times change, previously we did not have the physical wear we do now.

“The only thing we require is people who are fully fit. He has responded well to treatment and he is now back in training.

“The only way to regain confidence is on the pitch, it’s the only way.

“I know the fans of Chivas well and we want to ensure that whoever we decide will play will give their best.”

Chivas will attempt to close the gap this Saturday against 13th-placed Lobos.
