Alan Pulido wants to remain at Chivas

Though it appeared Cruz Azul were all set to acquire Chivas forward Alan Pulido in the last 24 hours, those negotiations came to a screeching halt.

Cruz Azul has been put off by the high asking price of $11m (€10m), and it seems that Chivas are not willing to budge.

Despite being proud that other teams have shown great interest in his services, Pulido claimed that he prefers to remain at his current club.

“If you ask me, I would prefer to stay here. I have challenges that I’d like to face but many times those decisions are not up to me,” Pulido told Record on Thursday after going through medical examinations.

In the last year, the 13-time Mexican international has featured 33 times in all competitions, scoring nine goals and adding two assists.
