Augustine, who started his career with Lanús in his homeland, accepts that he would have to wait for Ochoa to leave before he could link back up with the Azulcrema.

“In the end it was a great decision [to leave] because there is Ochoa, who is a national idol,” the stopper told Argentinian broadcaster TyC Sports.

“Hopefully some day when Memo will have to leave, I will have to return in the best way,” he added.

Marchesín also discussed the intensity of Mexican football, admitting that he found it hard to leave that environment behind.

“Football is lived with passion in Mexico. Just as it happened to me in Lanús that I cried, in América exactly the same thing happened to me,” he revealed.
